I’ve been absent for a couple of days following the band latest “rehearsal”. I put quotations around it, since it’s mostly just Maniac running in circles screaming his lungs out. Anyway, in the midst of all that chaos a new song started emerging. After being inspired by the poetry that is Maniac’s drunken ramblings, I went home to indulge in my favorite pastime. Drinking myself unconcious in my apartment.

This if me doing my favorite thing

Usually that would be were the story ends, but not today. When I finally woke up, I was bruised and battered and found myself in a cell of some sort. I started yelling to the guards about letting me go, but they wouldn’t have it. After screaming randomly for forty five minutes they were obviously tired of me, and I was hurriedly put in a stale room, with someone sitting in front of me.

-Good morning mr Mutt. How are you today?

I told her it probably wasn’t me they were after and she asked me a bunch of questions. The one that stuck in my mind the most was:

-Why did you dress up as a cave man and tried to assault those women?

I told her she was mistaken.

-I spent the night at home, passed out drunk, like I always do.

She showed me a video recording of me running around in a cave man outfit chasing two women with a branch of some sort.

-Well. Um…

I tried to tell her it was art, inspired by the awesomeness of a new Killer Clan song, but she wouldn’t listen. Another hour of meaningless questions ensued, but finally I was released.

-I’m sad to say we can’t charge you with anything, so we’re letting you go.

Apparently there’s no law against knocking yourself out with a random tree branch. Go figure. Now I’m just getting myself psyched for the gig on tuesday. Sjöbo, here we come!

It was a total succes yestarday at ROCKBÅTEN M/S Harmony. Thanks BODIES, Bulletrain, The Clan, the gorgeous women, the fans, the staff, the boat and the ocean for makin the world rock totally. We will come back to the best rocktown in Sweden allready this tuesday at TIVOLI! DO NOT MISS THE CHANCE to see some really rocking crazy people on stage. Love you all/ Maniac

The radio plays us in so many countries all over the world. We are planning and working hard on getting the gigs in place and really getting some good dates. Somehow it’s starting to look like we are going to break at least modestly in both the reachable world (south of Sweden) and also building up to get to tour the world outside the obvious neighbourhood. World of ROCK – here we come. Enjoy the poster folks and see out there!!!!

Nobody knows how long we got on this planet… some say (Nostradamus and the Maya indians) that it all ends in 2012. I for one, don’t care. All I want is to have lived and had a lot of fun (=sex, drugs, rock n roll) and as of today – all that feels OK.

So what about the cu cu cachu then? Well… it’s a theft from Mrs Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel straight to Tattletail – which is by now played in so mane radiostations around the world that we now start to feel a little bit like the stars we entered the world to be!

…and slowly but distinctively moving towards perfection in the Killer Clan machine.

The songs are now decided to be:

“Dog of love” – a hardhitting really mushy thing with fantastic and fun lyrics. The chorus is one of the catchiest I’ve ever heard.

“I’m Dead” – the powerballad that we tried out live on Poolhouse concerto no3, but now it’s longer and better it has got yet another verse. The lyrics comes with a sick twist… or you stay in a state of bliss with a little help of ignorance! A fatal love story without a set end.

“Say hello to my bullet” – also a hardhitting thing… the title says it all basically.

“Liqour” – party, party, party, also one of the songs you could hear for the first time at the Poolhouse. About what you do when all there is to mix with is a cola flavoured with lime… nothing really tastes good with that. Although the lyrics aren’t the final ones… they are a bit explicit in a foul way.

You will all love it as much as we do – we are certain of that!

Our last gig before the summer vacation is at Bananfesten in Lund, Sweden. We are so proud of the set and it’s gonna be a really good performance on friday.

Some people are asking about me and my wellbeing and that shit has got to end now, or you will get a visit from my bloodthirsty evil twin… when you’re alone – at night!

Hello my friend!

The Clan has finished writing a new song and it’s got a really cool hook for the chorus. It’s called “Say hello to my bullet” and we aim to record it sometime this summer together with a couple of soon to be finished songs. Among the working titles: “Sleazeball Boogie”, “Californian Balance”, “Psychonaut hallucination” and “Piss and Vinegar”. Very exciting to see which songs make it to the studio.

The gig in Malmö at Bodonis Club Powerhouse is also an exciting event that noone in their sound fluids should miss out on. The set is well rehearsed and tried on an audience with fortunate result. We will take the 40 minutes of burning energy to a whole new level of intensity. Wednesday 13th of may the stage explodes… be there!

Yesterday we reheasred with the new bassplayer. he is fantastic and though Ugly Dog is dead (peace be with him) we don’t miss him an inch. Now it’s louder, ruder and heavier than ever and it feels like Killer Clan of F.U.N. has found it’s true nature. We start gigging next weekend and there are a lot of new dates coming up. We also had a meeting with our new manager, who is a tornado of inspiration and ideas. The future is ours. It belongs to me, the Killer Clan of F.U.N. and you.

The Story of Killer Clan of F.U.N.

One rainy day, Bedlam and Maniac Daniels were drinking life threatening amounts of whiskey and fiddeling on guitars. Maniacs guitar was bought at K-mart and couldn’t be tuned… so he smashed it over the TV-set. Bedlam found that so impressive that he wrote a pile of red hot guitar riffs while Maniac, curled up in a corner, screamed out his longing for outrageous intoxication. On the back of a couple of unpaid bills from his landlord the cock-eyed Maniac managed to put down some snippets of lyrics (This later on was interpreted by a team of professors of linguistics and it took them nearly a whole year to put together), and a handful of songs were magically born.
Shortly after, Bedlam and Maniac started recording an album and suddenly a bass player appeared. Nobody asked any questions or cared to find out his name so he was simply called …Ugly Dog. Now they nearly had a band and already the record was halfway done. Next a youngster with tiny body structure asked if he could try out as a drummer. Maniac, for no appearant reason, went bezerk, drunk and stoned as he was, and beat the poor bastard black and blue. An act that rendered Maniac some alone time in a cell. Escorted there by a whole bunch of police officers. Upon being released, he found out that the little fellar, now named Big Boned Barabas, had become a permanent member of the band. The gang completed the album with the help from a few friends, and Maniacs mom who let her son live at home long after he had turned 24 (which is probably not healthy, but better than the gutter).

Killer Clan of F.U.N. are pleased with the results from all their hard work and ready to set fire to any stage they can get their asses to fit on. Armed to their teeth with gasoline, booze and with adventurous minds on the rim of self destruction you will all be sorry you didn’t pay more attention in school to the drop-outs and misfits – here they are, to claim sweet revenge on the world!

Keep your eyes and ears open, if these guys enter a stage in your area – be sure to attend, it will be a memory for life.
