F.U.N.
by The Mutt on Jul.15, 2010, under Live
Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of calls from the press asking me what F.U.N. stands for and since I never bother checking the facts before I post stuff, I naturally just take a wild swing in the dark and go with it.
F.uriosly U.nderrated. Neurosis.
Yep.
It feels good to divulge band secrets when the moon is high and you can’t go howling since the cops obviously finds that to be “disturbing the peace”.
Aaaaaooooooooooooowwwww (Can’t stop me on the internet)
In just a couple of days the rest of us will join a drunken Maniac for a show to a bunch of bikers. Hopefully. I’m guessing Maniac’s already began planning on how to steal all the bikes and paint them in Clan colors (whatever that is) and if he actually goes through with it, it might be worse than the time he tried to convince Bedlam to “stop playing solos all the time” since he thought he was “stealing his glory”. That was a horrible day for all of us.
On a personal note, my whiskey’s all gotten mysteriously drunk by me, so I’m dry as fuck now. Feel free to ship boxes of Ol’ Jack’s to my house. Just put “House of the Mutt” on the box and it will find me.
And also, we’ve started to create some killer tunes for our upcoming album “The Mutt Chronicles” (Working title) due to be recorded before the snow gets heavy enough to stop BBB’s trains derailing on his ass.
Don’t forget to preorder. (Also done by shipping Ol’ Jack’s to my house)
What happened at Bunkerfestivalen?
by Pär on Jul.04, 2010, under Bio, Live
Unfortunately I couldn’t be with the band at Bunkerfestivalen yesterday. I’ve heard that the festival went great and that the band made a great gig. But what happened after their gig is still unclear.
Did Maniac set off one of his plans against The Soundtrack of Our Lives or Sator or one of the other bands? I don’t really know right now. All I have is this photo I received this morning in my mail:

Svalöv, here we come!
by Pär on Apr.21, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry

On Friday the band will have the pleasure to enter the stage at Kulturhuset in Svalöv (check out their Facebook page too). Kulturhuset, a great place for culture in many forms, opera, theater, stand-up, movies, music and more. AND they have the great taste of inviting great rock bands to come to play.
Some may wonder where and what Svalöv is and I can tell you: it’s right in the center of everything! Which means it’s right between Lund and Helsingborg with Landskrona and Kävlinge close by.
Joining Killer Clan of F.U.N. on stage are three other bands you should check out:
8Stone, Michael Machine and Bulletrain.
Rockville LA
by Pär on Apr.07, 2010, under Live
The last year we have seen number of new hard rock scenes grow up on Swedish soil. This is clearly not a coincidence as the air has gotten more and more dense with rock’n'roll for quite a while now.
One of the most interesting ones is Rockville LA in Landskrona. They started in February this year and present an interesting mix of well established bands and new hot acts. The last time Von Benzo, Soul Weeper and Trash Queen went up on stage and next week, the 16th of april Bai Bang, Damien and of course Killer Clan of F.U.N. will rock Landskrona.
You’ve probably heard of the glam rock band Bai Bang before, as they have had a long and successful career, touring worldwide and are as strong today as ever before. If you have Spotify you can listen to them here. Damien is a hot new act with the singer Michelle in the front. Grab a couple of tunes for you mp3-player here.
It all takes place on Tages Nightclub in Landskrona (map) at 21.00 next Friday, the 16th. Check here for info on where to get those tickets.
See you there!
Hot Stuff?
by Pär on Mar.03, 2010, under Bio, Live
As you all know, the band is playing in Stockholm this Saturday, at Broder Tuck, Club Dislocated, 20.00. We hope to see many of our Stockholm friends there.
Everything seemed to be going well, but, and there’s a big but: something’s not right between our new guitarist Stuff and Maniac. And we’re not sure what will happen between the two of them on stage on Saturday.
Stuff’s really made a strong impression on all of us. First of all he’s a great guitarist and entertainer, second, Bedlam is happy to have his guitarist-party-brother and third he’s the first one in the band with a driver’s licence! Something that’s quite useful when the band is on tour…
Big Boned Barabas is to young to have one, The Mutt is to lazy to get one, and Maniac always fails trying to get one (he always get furious at the driver’s test because he’s not allowed to freshen up with some JD) It is rumoured that Bedlam actually had a driver’s license, but that he cut it in pieces one night, since he needed some extra plectrums.
Stuff being such an asset, you may wonder what’s happened then. Well, Stuff is a young, good-looking guy, and, he’s bare-chested on stage. It’s got to Maniac’s head that Stuff’s ambition is to try to steal the girls’ attention from Maniac when playing live. Sounds silly, I know, but once it get into Maniacs head, it hardly ever goes out (except with the help of a few drinks).
Maniac gave Stuff a warning the other day:
(Sorry, our foreign friends, it’s in Swedish. Maniac always starts ranting strange languages when he’s furious. Maybe he can translate it later.)
We all hope for the best on Saturday, and that Stuff gets back in one piece. I have asked Bedlam to give Stuff some advice how to deal with Maniac, which he was eager to do.
Well, things like this always seem to give Maniac extra energy on stage, so you can be certain that the gig on Saturday will be a great one. Also, playing before the Clan are some other great bands: Spirit Still, Abbey Orchestra and Captain Black Beard.
I won’t be able to attend myself, but the band sure wants to see you there.

We shall overcome!
by Maniac on Sep.19, 2009, under Airplay, Maniacisms and Poetry
The radio plays us in so many countries all over the world. We are planning and working hard on getting the gigs in place and really getting some good dates. Somehow it’s starting to look like we are going to break at least modestly in both the reachable world (south of Sweden) and also building up to get to tour the world outside the obvious neighbourhood. World of ROCK – here we come. Enjoy the poster folks and see out there!!!!
