Have you checked out this vagely new phenomena called Swedish sleaze? We almost fit in that box, though we really stand out as something different – at least that’s what most people say about us. I don’t have an agenda to stand out, all I want is the rock n roll to be felt in every bone of my steady body. This is what we do, and recently it seems as if others think so to. But now to the subject for the day. The swedish sleaze. Almost every band I’ve heard in that genre (put in the mold by me…) is so pathetically the same as we’ve heard a gazillion times.  Motley Crue made it their goal to be outstanding, and in a way they managed. Nowadays they’re just lame. But WHY lord, is it that bands copy their style of today? Why don’t they go back to right before they became stars and try to understand the kind of energy and willpower that is fundamentally necessary for every band who’s looking for success? Actually the problem just might be lying around just there – if you are looking hard enough for success, it just may succeed in avoiding you…

Fuck Swedish Sleaze! LONG LIVE KILLER CLAN OF F.U.N.!

Anybody remember the AC/DC album from the mid 80’s? How cool would that be? An insect on the wall of a dressing room for women. I would freak out and try to make a home some warm and moisty somewhere.

On the less philosophical side we are entering a really busy month. We are playing live every weekend and also recording the 4 new songs starting with drumtracks on sunday 9th. Topspin is public and also the festival i Ängelholm, but we are also doing some private shows. Don’t hesitate to call us and see if we are free to do a gig on your birthday party or so – you will not regret it.

Our last gig before the summer vacation is at Bananfesten in Lund, Sweden. We are so proud of the set and it’s gonna be a really good performance on friday.

Some people are asking about me and my wellbeing and that shit has got to end now, or you will get a visit from my bloodthirsty evil twin… when you’re alone – at night!

Hello my friend!

The Clan has finished writing a new song and it’s got a really cool hook for the chorus. It’s called “Say hello to my bullet” and we aim to record it sometime this summer together with a couple of soon to be finished songs. Among the working titles: “Sleazeball Boogie”, “Californian Balance”, “Psychonaut hallucination” and “Piss and Vinegar”. Very exciting to see which songs make it to the studio.

The gig in Malmö at Bodonis Club Powerhouse is also an exciting event that noone in their sound fluids should miss out on. The set is well rehearsed and tried on an audience with fortunate result. We will take the 40 minutes of burning energy to a whole new level of intensity. Wednesday 13th of may the stage explodes… be there!
