F.U.N.
by The Mutt on Jul.15, 2010, under Live
Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of calls from the press asking me what F.U.N. stands for and since I never bother checking the facts before I post stuff, I naturally just take a wild swing in the dark and go with it.
F.uriosly U.nderrated. Neurosis.
Yep.
It feels good to divulge band secrets when the moon is high and you can’t go howling since the cops obviously finds that to be “disturbing the peace”.
Aaaaaooooooooooooowwwww (Can’t stop me on the internet)
In just a couple of days the rest of us will join a drunken Maniac for a show to a bunch of bikers. Hopefully. I’m guessing Maniac’s already began planning on how to steal all the bikes and paint them in Clan colors (whatever that is) and if he actually goes through with it, it might be worse than the time he tried to convince Bedlam to “stop playing solos all the time” since he thought he was “stealing his glory”. That was a horrible day for all of us.
On a personal note, my whiskey’s all gotten mysteriously drunk by me, so I’m dry as fuck now. Feel free to ship boxes of Ol’ Jack’s to my house. Just put “House of the Mutt” on the box and it will find me.
And also, we’ve started to create some killer tunes for our upcoming album “The Mutt Chronicles” (Working title) due to be recorded before the snow gets heavy enough to stop BBB’s trains derailing on his ass.
Don’t forget to preorder. (Also done by shipping Ol’ Jack’s to my house)
Faster Pussycat
by Maniac on Oct.22, 2009, under Maniacisms and Poetry, Rock'n'roll stuff
I’ve been beatin’ around the bush for some time now with two important things in my life.
First: Faster Pussycats CD from 2006 “The Power And The Glory Hole”. I don’t fancy the techno approach these guys, fronted by Taime Down, have taken to their music. I loved the rawness and the energy that filled their first album and of course I loved “Wake me when it’s over” After that it seemed that every good rocking band had to try and reinvent rock n roll. And maybe that is something to be grateful for, but it doesn’t kick any ass. It just no good. Boring songs and no energy. It sounds a lot like the crap Tim Skold from swedish band Shotgun Messiah made ten years ago before he joined and got kicked out of Marilyn Manson. Manson at least have the magic fingers to put some energy into his music, while these copycats just fail. Now Faster Pussycat releases yet another album. I don’t know if I will even give it a chance. It’s called “Front Row For The Donkey Show” – If you do listen, please drop a line and tell me what you think.
Second: Nikki Sixx had a really sad 1987. It was the same year I got “Girls, girls, girls” and forced my kid sister to take pictures of me holding that album, an empty bottle of Jack Daniels and a bouquet of roses with my hair teased up to the moon. If I had known how far off into the darkness he had slipped with his heroine addiction it would have scared the shit right out my ass. Very interesting read, this book of his “The Heroine diaries” (or is it “the Heroine diarrheas”). So all you kids out there, read it and then
STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM DRUGS!!!
The best band in the world?
by Maniac on Apr.18, 2009, under Maniacisms and Poetry
Yesterday we reheasred with the new bassplayer. he is fantastic and though Ugly Dog is dead (peace be with him) we don’t miss him an inch. Now it’s louder, ruder and heavier than ever and it feels like Killer Clan of F.U.N. has found it’s true nature. We start gigging next weekend and there are a lot of new dates coming up. We also had a meeting with our new manager, who is a tornado of inspiration and ideas. The future is ours. It belongs to me, the Killer Clan of F.U.N. and you.
The Dog is dead – long live Ugly Mutt!!!
Peace, booze and rock n roll/ Maniac
A.C.A.B.

Short for All Cops Are Bastards. And that has been true for all times, but right now it’s even more true. Three ugly officers cuffed me and forced me inside their pathetic little automobile yesterday, not telling me why. As an act of retribution I wasn’t talking to them either. When I finally got a lawyer (seconds away from being raped by an enormous afro-american) I was released due to lack of evidens. It seems like they think I was somehow involved in the terrible ans sad death of my dogman… still no sign of Bedlam. Wonder what ever happened. As you might suspect, there is a crisis in the band right now… but as always we will show up in time for the shows and rock the hell out of you all!
Don’t miss the fantastic oppourtunity to get the album for free at http://killerclanoffun.bandcamp.com/
I have a feeling you will hear from me soon again. Love/ Maniac
