Studio Rats!
by Maniac on Mar.15, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry
We’ve been slacking around the studio the first weekend without a gig for a very long time. Nice to finally be in a productive and asskicking band. Here is a treat for all you Killerheads out there. Bloopers included for your satisfaction. Bon appetit.
We are coming to get ya!

Hey y’all!
We have added a new section for your satisfaction. It’s the VIDEOS-section. There you can find the fresh video for Tattletail and also some liveshots from Mejeriet, Lund, Sweden february 13th. From that live show, there is also photos available in the PHOTOS-section.
This week is all work and no fun. But the weekend means gig i Höör and the Mutts birthday bash, where we also will make a rocking appearance. Looking forward to that.
Also a new post on the gigsection. We’re coming to rock Rockville L.A. in Landskrona April 16. We support this new club and hats off to Wilhelm who made it happen.
I’m back! Did you miss me?

I’ve been absent for a couple of days following the band latest “rehearsal”. I put quotations around it, since it’s mostly just Maniac running in circles screaming his lungs out. Anyway, in the midst of all that chaos a new song started emerging. After being inspired by the poetry that is Maniac’s drunken ramblings, I went home to indulge in my favorite pastime. Drinking myself unconcious in my apartment.
This if me doing my favorite thing
Usually that would be were the story ends, but not today. When I finally woke up, I was bruised and battered and found myself in a cell of some sort. I started yelling to the guards about letting me go, but they wouldn’t have it. After screaming randomly for forty five minutes they were obviously tired of me, and I was hurriedly put in a stale room, with someone sitting in front of me.
-Good morning mr Mutt. How are you today?
I told her it probably wasn’t me they were after and she asked me a bunch of questions. The one that stuck in my mind the most was:
-Why did you dress up as a cave man and tried to assault those women?
I told her she was mistaken.
-I spent the night at home, passed out drunk, like I always do.
She showed me a video recording of me running around in a cave man outfit chasing two women with a branch of some sort.
-Well. Um…
I tried to tell her it was art, inspired by the awesomeness of a new Killer Clan song, but she wouldn’t listen. Another hour of meaningless questions ensued, but finally I was released.
-I’m sad to say we can’t charge you with anything, so we’re letting you go.
Apparently there’s no law against knocking yourself out with a random tree branch. Go figure. Now I’m just getting myself psyched for the gig on tuesday. Sjöbo, here we come!
It Wasn’t Me…
by Rabid Mutt on Dec.03, 2009, under Maniacisms and Poetry
Yesterday, after spending around 45 minutes of kicking ass, and not quite that long at taking names, I jumped off stage and someone immediately told me that I didn’t get the attention I deserve. Of course this is true, but I think I better tell the world why, before someone starts making up their own shit.
The fact is that there are a lot of rumours going around regarding me and my “sudden appearance” to pick up the bass after the dog “mysteriously” didn’t get up from Maniacs couch.
Wasn’t me
The world needs to know that neither that or any of the other stuff is true, except for some of the parts regarding the dead french hooker which totally wasn’t my fault. Anyway. People have started asking me questions about my past (and that damned hooker) so I decided to go a little underground.
Might have been me. Not sure
It’s for this very reason that I don’t often stand in the spotlight myself (even though I should since nobody can be there looking as good as me, except me). Fun fact: this is also why I’ve grown a beard. Remember that, the next time you wonder why the extremely good looking bass player with the monster attitude doesn’t get his much deserved attention./Mutt out

Today I found a plastic bag in my pocket with green little bits n pieces that looked smokable. I rolled up what I supposed was a fat one to make my sunday smell a lot better (I mean who can stand the smell of five days drinking in the apartment – sure smells bad). I caughed like crazy and looked at the bag again… oregano isn’t that wild to smoke. Don’t do it it will only make you puke.
The only good thing about it is that my doctor is supposed to check my pee for drugs. Now all he will find is the smell of pizza.
On wednesday the magnificent Killer Clan of F.U.N. will attend Mejeriet in Lund to kick some serious ass together with our talanted friends in STICKY DIRT! Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/stickydirt
If you wanna join the evergrowing gang of nogoods and call yourself a clanmember – see to it that you are there!

Faster Pussycat
by Maniac on Oct.22, 2009, under Maniacisms and Poetry, Rock'n'roll stuff
I’ve been beatin’ around the bush for some time now with two important things in my life.
First: Faster Pussycats CD from 2006 “The Power And The Glory Hole”. I don’t fancy the techno approach these guys, fronted by Taime Down, have taken to their music. I loved the rawness and the energy that filled their first album and of course I loved “Wake me when it’s over” After that it seemed that every good rocking band had to try and reinvent rock n roll. And maybe that is something to be grateful for, but it doesn’t kick any ass. It just no good. Boring songs and no energy. It sounds a lot like the crap Tim Skold from swedish band Shotgun Messiah made ten years ago before he joined and got kicked out of Marilyn Manson. Manson at least have the magic fingers to put some energy into his music, while these copycats just fail. Now Faster Pussycat releases yet another album. I don’t know if I will even give it a chance. It’s called “Front Row For The Donkey Show” – If you do listen, please drop a line and tell me what you think.
Second: Nikki Sixx had a really sad 1987. It was the same year I got “Girls, girls, girls” and forced my kid sister to take pictures of me holding that album, an empty bottle of Jack Daniels and a bouquet of roses with my hair teased up to the moon. If I had known how far off into the darkness he had slipped with his heroine addiction it would have scared the shit right out my ass. Very interesting read, this book of his “The Heroine diaries” (or is it “the Heroine diarrheas”). So all you kids out there, read it and then
STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM DRUGS!!!
Copycats suck fat elephant balls!

Have you checked out this vagely new phenomena called Swedish sleaze? We almost fit in that box, though we really stand out as something different – at least that’s what most people say about us. I don’t have an agenda to stand out, all I want is the rock n roll to be felt in every bone of my steady body. This is what we do, and recently it seems as if others think so to. But now to the subject for the day. The swedish sleaze. Almost every band I’ve heard in that genre (put in the mold by me…) is so pathetically the same as we’ve heard a gazillion times. Motley Crue made it their goal to be outstanding, and in a way they managed. Nowadays they’re just lame. But WHY lord, is it that bands copy their style of today? Why don’t they go back to right before they became stars and try to understand the kind of energy and willpower that is fundamentally necessary for every band who’s looking for success? Actually the problem just might be lying around just there – if you are looking hard enough for success, it just may succeed in avoiding you…
Soon we are gonna make Lund/Sweden a rocking place. Come join us and shake your booty to our fantastic set of songs!!! October 3:d it is!
Fuck Swedish Sleaze! LONG LIVE KILLER CLAN OF F.U.N.!
We shall overcome!

The radio plays us in so many countries all over the world. We are planning and working hard on getting the gigs in place and really getting some good dates. Somehow it’s starting to look like we are going to break at least modestly in both the reachable world (south of Sweden) and also building up to get to tour the world outside the obvious neighbourhood. World of ROCK – here we come. Enjoy the poster folks and see out there!!!!
Swineflu and cu cu cachuu!
by Maniac on Sep.08, 2009, under Airplay, Maniacisms and Poetry, Rock'n'roll stuff
Nobody knows how long we got on this planet… some say (Nostradamus and the Maya indians) that it all ends in 2012. I for one, don’t care. All I want is to have lived and had a lot of fun (=sex, drugs, rock n roll) and as of today – all that feels OK.
So what about the cu cu cachu then? Well… it’s a theft from Mrs Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel straight to Tattletail – which is by now played in so mane radiostations around the world that we now start to feel a little bit like the stars we entered the world to be!
Die now? – hell no!
