What happened at Bunkerfestivalen?
by Pär on Jul.04, 2010, under Bio, Live
Unfortunately I couldn’t be with the band at Bunkerfestivalen yesterday. I’ve heard that the festival went great and that the band made a great gig. But what happened after their gig is still unclear.
Did Maniac set off one of his plans against The Soundtrack of Our Lives or Sator or one of the other bands? I don’t really know right now. All I have is this photo I received this morning in my mail:

Just when we thought it was over…
by Pär on Jun.29, 2010, under Bio, Live
…it really wasn’t.
I told you the other day about Maniacs vicious plans to interfere with The Soundtrack of Our Lives‘ gig at Bunkerfestivalen on the 3rd of July. We exposed him to the world and and Ebbot gave him a strong word of warning, so we thought that we could stop worrying about it.
But we were wrong. He just shifted his focus to another great band that will be playing there, Sator.
Yesterday I found a clip that revealed what he was up to. At first I thought it was just his usual ramblings, but when I listened closely I could clearly hear that he’s now targeting Sator . Well, time is too short to stop him now, so lets hope for the best on Saturday.

Ebbot warns Maniac!
by Pär on Jun.04, 2010, under Bio, Live
After we exposed Maniac’s plans yesterday to take over Bunkerfestivalen, the reaction has been very strong from the media as well as from the rock world. Peruvian TV, Chinese rock magazines, radio Kazachstan, you name it, have all covered the story today, and the pressure have been quite heavy on all of us in the management today.
As you might expect, the strongest reaction came from Ebbot, ofThe Soundtrack of Our Lives, himself. At a press conference early this morning he sent this message to Maniac:
Maniac’s devious plans exposed!
by Pär on Jun.03, 2010, under Bio, Live

Look at this picture above I took the other day. It’s a actually a picture of Maniac, apparently dressed in some kind of Santa Claus outfit. But why?
He came out the door and I was there with my camera, but before I could ask any questions he pushed me away and ran off. Of course I got very suspicious, as the others in the band didn’t know anything about it. What was he up to now?
The following days I started playing detective, looking in his bags, sneaking into his room, eavesdropping, and it payed off! Through scraps of papers, drawings, strange statements I think I finally solved the puzzle.
As you all know, Killer Clan of F.U.N. will be playing at Bunkerfestivalen in Bengtsfors on the 3rd of July. A great festival with 18 bands. Sator will play too, The Generals, Kid Down, Social Siberia and lots of others. And….The Soundtrack of Our Lives!!
And that’s where Maniac has his thoughts now. With The Soundtrack of Our Lives. As if Killer Clan’s fantastic show wasn’t enough, Maniac wants to take over the entire festival! His plan is to lock up Ebbot somewhere (we think he’s aiming for the toilet), and then impersonate Ebbot, and take over their show too!
The rest of the band and I thought that this was such an evil plan, that we had to bring it to your attention. Hopefully this will make him put his plans aside, at least for a while.

XYZ sends a message to Maniac
by Pär on May.01, 2010, under Airplay, Bio, Rock'n'roll stuff
A couple of weeks ago Maniac and Stuff took over the radio station Radio AF and promoted Stockholm Rock out for an hour in the show “In Rock“. During the show Maniac interviewed Terry, the singer of XYZ. If you haven’t heard the interview you can listen to it here.
As you can hear there’s a certain challenge in the interview. Maniac actually states that he will get all the girls, and leave nothing for Terry and XYZ!
Well, I’m not surprised. Maniac’s a nice guy, but he just doesn’t like to share.
BUT, and there’s a big but. As it now happens, Killer Clan of F.U.N. won’t be playing today at Stockholm Rock Out. They will play in September instead. But XYZ is here, all of them, and they certainly will play today. And they sent Maniac a message:
That was Joey, Pat and Tony. Later on Terry wanted to say something too:
I don’t know how Maniac will react to all this, I prefer not to think about it. All I can say is that XYZ is a hell of a band and yesterday at the pre-show at Harry B. James they performed one of the best acoustic sets I have ever seen
And many more will come today to Stockholm Rockout and enjoy this band and of course the other great bands too.

Svalöv, here we come!
by Pär on Apr.21, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry

On Friday the band will have the pleasure to enter the stage at Kulturhuset in Svalöv (check out their Facebook page too). Kulturhuset, a great place for culture in many forms, opera, theater, stand-up, movies, music and more. AND they have the great taste of inviting great rock bands to come to play.
Some may wonder where and what Svalöv is and I can tell you: it’s right in the center of everything! Which means it’s right between Lund and Helsingborg with Landskrona and Kävlinge close by.
Joining Killer Clan of F.U.N. on stage are three other bands you should check out:
8Stone, Michael Machine and Bulletrain.
Rockville LA
by Pär on Apr.07, 2010, under Live
The last year we have seen number of new hard rock scenes grow up on Swedish soil. This is clearly not a coincidence as the air has gotten more and more dense with rock’n'roll for quite a while now.
One of the most interesting ones is Rockville LA in Landskrona. They started in February this year and present an interesting mix of well established bands and new hot acts. The last time Von Benzo, Soul Weeper and Trash Queen went up on stage and next week, the 16th of april Bai Bang, Damien and of course Killer Clan of F.U.N. will rock Landskrona.
You’ve probably heard of the glam rock band Bai Bang before, as they have had a long and successful career, touring worldwide and are as strong today as ever before. If you have Spotify you can listen to them here. Damien is a hot new act with the singer Michelle in the front. Grab a couple of tunes for you mp3-player here.
It all takes place on Tages Nightclub in Landskrona (map) at 21.00 next Friday, the 16th. Check here for info on where to get those tickets.
See you there!
Hot Stuff?
by Pär on Mar.03, 2010, under Bio, Live
As you all know, the band is playing in Stockholm this Saturday, at Broder Tuck, Club Dislocated, 20.00. We hope to see many of our Stockholm friends there.
Everything seemed to be going well, but, and there’s a big but: something’s not right between our new guitarist Stuff and Maniac. And we’re not sure what will happen between the two of them on stage on Saturday.
Stuff’s really made a strong impression on all of us. First of all he’s a great guitarist and entertainer, second, Bedlam is happy to have his guitarist-party-brother and third he’s the first one in the band with a driver’s licence! Something that’s quite useful when the band is on tour…
Big Boned Barabas is to young to have one, The Mutt is to lazy to get one, and Maniac always fails trying to get one (he always get furious at the driver’s test because he’s not allowed to freshen up with some JD) It is rumoured that Bedlam actually had a driver’s license, but that he cut it in pieces one night, since he needed some extra plectrums.
Stuff being such an asset, you may wonder what’s happened then. Well, Stuff is a young, good-looking guy, and, he’s bare-chested on stage. It’s got to Maniac’s head that Stuff’s ambition is to try to steal the girls’ attention from Maniac when playing live. Sounds silly, I know, but once it get into Maniacs head, it hardly ever goes out (except with the help of a few drinks).
Maniac gave Stuff a warning the other day:
(Sorry, our foreign friends, it’s in Swedish. Maniac always starts ranting strange languages when he’s furious. Maybe he can translate it later.)
We all hope for the best on Saturday, and that Stuff gets back in one piece. I have asked Bedlam to give Stuff some advice how to deal with Maniac, which he was eager to do.
Well, things like this always seem to give Maniac extra energy on stage, so you can be certain that the gig on Saturday will be a great one. Also, playing before the Clan are some other great bands: Spirit Still, Abbey Orchestra and Captain Black Beard.
I won’t be able to attend myself, but the band sure wants to see you there.

Close Quarters cancels, Sticky Dirt joins in
by Pär on Feb.10, 2010, under Live
Unfortunately the singer in Close Quarters, Viktor, has broken his foot, which means that Close Quarters is being forced to cancel their gig at Mejeriet on Saturday.
Instead, Sticky Dirt, will join us on stage and take Close Quarters place.
Best wishes to Viktor,
See you next time guys
Good stuff!

So, the waiting is finally over. Killer Clan of F.U.N. finally got a second guitarist and his name is Stuff!
I talked to a very enthusiastic Bedlam yesterday: “Well, this dude sure can party like a guitarist! He even brushes his teeth in JD!”
This all sounded great. But as you know from what I told you a couple of days ago, I could also foresee an upcoming conflict with Maniac here. He is not famous for just giving up an argument that easy. But what did he do?
He brought Stuff with him on a radio interview yesterday night, and presented him to the world. You can listen to the show here, InRock on Radio AF (I’m afraid it’s in Swedish, but if you write to Maniac he will translate the whole thing for you):
Well, it is rumoured that Stuff really knows how to play the guitar too, and I will see for myself on Saturday on Mejeriet in Lund. (also see the event on Facebook).
I’m really looking forward to this fabulous rock’n'roll kick-off and I finally get to see Badmouth and Close Quarters too.
See you there!

PS Ugly Mutt tired of being called ugly all the time, he thought he was too beautiful for that. And the others thought he was more rabid than ugly so he’s called Rabid Mutt now. But he’s still a mutt! DS
