Sitting in my sofa at home and checking out old demos and recordings I’ve done. It’s pretty cool, and there have also been quite a good laughs along the way. Sometimes you think “Man, what was I thinking there?” Since I’ve been playing in few bands, the music-genre is quite broad.

Although I have had some laughs along the way, listening to these recordings I never regret one day that I picked up the guitar, although my first choice were to play the drums but I were not allowed to have drums in my folks home. But that’s a whole other story to tell.

These were just thoughts in my head that I wanted to share to you.

Bo Diddley – “Pills”

The Rock was talking to Stuff about some square-shaped guitar the other night at rehearsal. Don’t really know what the coversation was about, but it reminded me of Bo Diddley and his trademark guitar. I always have at least a couple of Bo-songs on my playlists and this is one of my favourites.

LaVern Baker – “Voodoo Voodoo”

When we decided on the title for the album I started checking out “voodoo-songs” by different artists. Of course there’s all those great Screamin’ Jay Hawkins songs, but a little further along  in my search I came across this gem by LaVern Baker. “He done voodoo doodoo-ed me!”

Mötley Crüe – Same Ol’ Situation

Mötley‘s finest hour. It’s kind of like their “You Shook Me All Night Long” in my mind. I always get a kick out of the video to it too.

Taj Mahal – “Johnny Too Bad”

Went to a Taj Mahal concert the other week. Been listening to him for a long time and it was truly a treat to get to see one the last great bluesmen up close. It was an amazing show.
Outside of the blues Taj has a whole list of musical genres on his repertoire and Johnny Too Bad is of course the classic reggae song by The Slickers. The original has nothing on Taj’s version though. Love the line “Struttin’ up from shanty town with a pistol in your waist – Johnny you’re too bad” just as the song fades out. Makes you wonder what happens next…

/Bedlam

I just wanted to say that we may have gone a bit too far here at the blog ’bout our new songs we’re writing. All I can say ’bout them is that they are way ahead into the future. Right now we just wanna promote our newly released cd “The World Of Voodoo”. I am pretty pleased by the outcome of it acctually.

I remember it as yesterday when were in the recording-progress. Although it felt like a neverending project at the time, and the money we spent it at, man, I surely lived on water and air back then. But just to hold the cd in my hands now makes me a bit proud of myself, and my teammates in the Clan ofcourse. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today as a guitarist and musician.

That´s pretty much all I have to say for now, hope y’all like it as much as I do!

Oh yeah, we are making some ass kicking songs in the studio for the moment and it sounds pretty awsome if you ask me or anyone else. The intense and the rhythm in the music makes you go bananas when you hear it or play it, that´s how you´re making Rock n Roll!.

And if you think about drums with fils, tripplets, drumsolos and all that shit you´re totally wrong. It´s so damn good that you can´t sit or stand still and if you tried to do it you would fail so hard. This is songs that we are writing from the bottom of our heart and we promise you guys and girls that you´re gonna love it.

Over and Out // 3B

Me, myself will be doin charity tonite. I’ll be playin at Vallby Kyrka to raise money for the cancerfund. This is something that I rarely do, but I couldn’t pass on this as it is for a good cause. At the same time I’m fighting a cold from hell it seems, I can feel the fever just ’round the corner. Once a rocker always a rocker as Joe Perry would have said it.

The other boys in the band will get together tonite at the rehearsal to keep on writing new material. So far the new material rocks, a little different from our latest record. But that’s just normal as we have grown as musicians and we still keep developing new sides. Never a dull moment in the Clan, that’s for sure!

How do you know if a person is badass?. Hmm thats a hard question, right ?, but it ain´t.

A real badass motherfucker plays the drums in a band, he knows how to treat good looking women, he never gets sick ( maybe sometimes, cold or the flu), he gets all groupies at a gig and they are serving him all night, he is wearing tight jeans and ” leckra “  boots, he beats up the drum technician if he does something wrong on a soundcheck or something else, he knows how to turn a lesbian to a straight girl, he is the best 365 days a year 24/7.

There is more to say but I´m to tired to write it down for the moment, all I can say is that every single detail describes me in the perfect way.

Don´t be a hater be a maker and take her.

I’ve been told by people to change my way of living and chill down with the music, they’re telling me to find something that makes me satisfied in my life.

Only thing i can say is shut the f#%& up and stop beeing so god damn dumb n boring. Those peoples who are telling me this crap plays indiepop, hardcore (boy band) metal and thinks their are some kind of experts in all kinds of music, bad chase motha fuckas… Bad chase. The truth is that rock n roll music will never die and we rockers will allways have the Pretty girls on our side comparing too you guys.
