KCoF out on the town

by on Sep.25, 2011, under Bedlam speaks

Me, Maniac, 3B and Stuff went to see our buddies in Close Quarters open for The Quireboys at KB in Malmö, Sweden, last night.
Amazing show and great night. The after party was a lot of fun, ran into lots of old and new friends, and the after party to the after party at Maniac’s place later on was the icing on the cake ;)

To distract myself from the symtoms of being hungover today I took the time to upload a bunch of photos to the Killer Clan of F.U.N. and Friends album (pictures of  friends and people we meet on the road, and elsewhere) that’s been lying around for a while. Some cool ones from the Skogsröjet festival earlier this summer and couple from last night too.

Making a music video!

by on Sep.16, 2011, under Stuff blogs

Just received a message from Mr Bedlam saying that he had spoked to Maniac about making a musicvideo for a song on “The World Of Voodoo”. We haven’t really decided on which song it will be yet.

To the subject “musicvideo”, me myself is a real nerd, I remember when I grew up at my folks place, watching VH1 everyday. Recording my favourite songs on VHS. Oh what memories it brings back! I made lists of my favourite videos and I also remembers I had a fucking “hate-list”. All I can say is, never watch Sledgehammer with Peter Gabriel. Maybe the worst song ever written, plus it also is the worst video ever recorded!

Is there any real good videos then with great music on top of that? Well, they are fuckin rare I can tell yee! There are of course several classics from the 80′s and the 90′s. Maybe they will be revealed to you some time in the future. But a musicvideo that I really like and that I just found on the net not so long ago is Poison Kiss with Wildstreet. Fucking nice song, and the video has something over it. Can’t put my finger on it really. But this is surely a top ten musicvideo for me. Get such great vibes from watching it! An extra plus for the vintage mics they use on stage!

Google yourself!

That’s a pretty odd thing to do, but since we released the new cd “The World Of Voodoo” I’ve been checking the net for any new articles/blogs you name it. Really fun to read about what others think about the music. I can’t say that everybody loves it, but somehow I kinda like reading bad reviews as good ones.

Not saying that we’ve only gotten bad reviews! Most of them have been good. But still fun to read, my main objective was and have always been to get a reaction out of people.

Tonight we’re off to rehearse, can’t wait to get out there cause we’re just about to write some new material!

Cowboyhats and wornout jeans

by on Sep.04, 2011, under Stuff blogs

Something that makes my heart tick a little faster is the old west. Since I were a little kid and grew up watching Lucky Luke cartoons which later came to be western films like “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”, and “Trinity” to name just a few. The whole concept of the old west is way cool, and if you’re reading this you most likely seen me on stage or at photos wearing cowboyhats and worn out jeans. That’s just me trying to get the vibe from the old raw west. Which I also try to implement into the music. The raw crispy sound from my guitar is an homage to my heroes from the tv!

Just saw the movie Lucky Luke from 2009, fuckin awesome! The looks and the feel from the screen just makes me tingle!

Stuffs Top Ten Albumlist (6)

by on Sep.02, 2011, under Stuff blogs

Well, time for another entry maybe? Guess I just lost inspiration for a while for whatever reason. Yesterday I found an urge to tell you on what to records to check out. Once again this is my own personal thoughts. Just sayin’ this cause I know I will get my ass full of “whatafucks?” after this post.

I have alreay listed these albums:

Alice Cooper – Love It To Death
David Bowie – The Rise And fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders from Mars
KISS – KISS
Aerosmith – Get A Grip
Bon Jovi – Keep The Faith

And now to the 6th entry: (If you have spotify, just click the link)
Sixx A.M. – The Heroin Diaries

I heard the record before I read the awesome book Nikki Sixx put out(goes under the same name). I remember instantly that the music and melodies got a hold of me, not really listening to the what they were singing about. However the melodies got quite stuck in my head and it’s now been over 2 years since the release and the songs are still in my head. Still humming them.

When inserting the cd into my cd-player it makes me wanna crank up the volume like there’s no tomorrow and crack open some beers. To me this is a top ten record which should be played from start to the stop for maximum pleasure! For those of you that haven’t heard it, give it a try, but please beware of the follow-up, an ok record but not even close to this masterpiece!

My favorite track from the record is Courtesy Call, awesome chorus if you ask me!

Hope you like it as much as me! See ya soon!
