We’re knocking ‘em off…
by Bedlam on Dec.31, 2010, under Bedlam speaks, Songs and their history, Studio update
We were back in the studio last night, me, Maniac and 3B. It was great to see Barabas and to have him present for the first time since we recorded the drums.
We got to see a bit of Sledgehammer as well as he stopped by for second.
Maniac was in fine form. He nailed two songs and had time to get started on the third before we had to wrap up.
One of the songs that was recorded was Get A Tattoo. A fast, straight ahead rocker with a kind of a punk edge to it that we haven’t played live more than a couple of times. Nevertheless, Maniac got it on the first take. With ferocious power.
It’s a special song since it was one of the first we wrote collectively at rehearsal. I had the riff, 3B came up with the right drum part that got the ball rolling, Stuff wrote the chords for the verse on the spot and Maniac wasn’t far behind with hook for the chorus. It’s pretty cool when a song comes together that way.
Anyway, last night ended just after midnight with me and 3B waiting for his train in the cold after being escorted out of the nice, warm stationhouse by security.

A new wishlist for next year to come
by Stuff on Dec.25, 2010, under Stuff blogs
Merry christmas everybody! I hope that you are all stuffed on good food and nice drinks, and that you’re having a good time with you family!
For me, christmas is over when I get my gifts, so now I’ll write down a few things that I wish for next year!
1. A Marshall amplifier (Yes I’m a sucker for this brand, the name itself just screams rock n roll)
2. To continue in the best band ever (KCoF, if you didn’t know that)
3. Money, money, money! (So I actually can help the band a little with equipment)
4. To meet and jam with bands like The Hives, Bon Jovi and KISS! (These bands kicks ass)
5. Our second record is out and we’ve started working at our third album!
What do you wish for next year?
And by the way, last time we were in the studio I brought the camera, but since I suck bigtime in adding photos to the site I will send them to our hardworking Killer Clan member Bedlam so he can put them out here asap. He is what I like to call a “pearl”.

We’re rolling…
by Bedlam on Dec.20, 2010, under Bedlam speaks, Studio update
So the recording of the vocals for the album continued on Saturday night.
Me, Stuff and of course the loudmouth himself, Maniac, was present ![]()
As a guitarist, with all the rythm parts done, it’s really a treat to sit back and hear the songs take shape as Maniac belts them out.
There’s only one downside; When this album is done I’m pretty sure I will have sustained some serious hearing impairment from just sitting in the same room as him.
That’s a couple of powerful lungs, for sure!
Anyway, we got some amazing takes and had a great time! The work on the album will resume after Christmas and I can’t wait.
Also, tomorrow we all will get together for rehearsal for the first time in about a month. We got shows coming up early next year and it’s time to whip this bastard back into going-on-the-road-mode

No limit

I´m sitting in my apartment all by myself and think about something great for Sweden and the citizens of Sweden. What can that be? hmm, Oh yes we need more rock´n roll here in this cold and dark country.
I want you to put on a record with your favourite rock song or band, and i want you to turn the volume up so your neighbors start to complain about you and ask what kind of terrible music is coming from you. Tell them that this is the music they will live with for the rest of their life cuz this is the music who RULE THE WORLD !.
WE SALUTE ROCK ´N ROLL !

And the recording goes on…

… yes it does. This weekend Maniac did some more vocals and it seems he is halfway through the songs now. The thought was that I should join them this weekend but unfortunatley I came across a virus (unfortunatley not the Iron Maiden song) so I couldn’t attend.
So what have I been up to then, not much and this sucks cause I have nothing to tell you then. But I do know that our cute little drummer (rumour’s out he has a girlfriend) has been to Denmark and has been spotted drinking “Gammeldansk”, this is the drink that the devil has made up and it tastes like shit if you ask me.
The cool thing about next year is that all bands that I like in the region of Lund will release new materiel, who will release the strongest material, we or Michael Machine or Damien or Sticky Dirt?
Hope to see you all soon again! / Stuff
When you’re shit out of luck, there’s…..
by Stuff on Dec.09, 2010, under Stuff blogs
…just one thing to do and that’s…Anybody that knows the rest of lyrics? If you do you might also know what record I will put on my albumlist. Yes you guessed absolutly right, Get A Grip with Aerosmith from 1993. And man what a crazy fuckin’ album this is, the songs will stick into your head like a shotgun thats been fired within your brain. Eat The Rich, Livin On The Egde, Cryin’, Crazy, Amazing, in fact I could just list the whole album.
My favourite track of this album is without a doubt Walk On Down, with Joe Perry on the leadvocals. Just a straightahead rocker, and I think his voice suits this song perfect. And ever since I heard this song/record, the first thing I do when having my hands on a new Aerosmith-album is to fastforward to the song that Perry sings.
Joe Perry has also recorded a few soloalbums, he did one in 2005 that just goes under the name Joe Perry. And this record is the closest thing you get to Get A Grip. Perry sings his heart out, and just knowing that Steven Tyler asked if he could sing on this album, but was turned down by Perry shows how strong the album is.
But hey, why don’t you listen do my whole list and crank up a beer and just enjoy some freakin’ good music!

Killer Clan goes DJ:ing
by Stuff on Dec.07, 2010, under Stuff blogs
This very weekend that has just passed us by, we were at a club named Spisen in Lund. And did we have a great time or what!? There were a bunch of pretty girls, buying me drinks and they did socialze with me back in the booth.
This is something that I am not familiar to, due to being growned up in Hillbilly land. But I can tell yee all that this is something that I can get used to for sure. After all I hope to this for quite a while before getting retired far out in the country with a beautiful girl by my side.
Be sure to check back this week and you’ll see my 4th entry on the albumlist and much more!
See ya soon my pretties! / Stuff
Who plays the Bass?
by Maniac on Dec.04, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry
The Mutt has made it official that he is leaving Killer Clan of F.U.N. today. We are still good friends and it’s sad, but we respect the decision and wish you love and happiness! This puts us in the position that we need a bassplayer that also want world domination, parties, girls and a whole lot of rock n roll! Help us spread the word so we can find the right one fast. We are in the middle of recording a great album and as soon as it’s finished we are going on tour.

Ohh dear lord, this life is AMAZING. Can you imagine a life without drums, hell no, can i tell you about my position in Killer Clan Of F.U.N. and how they are treating me, hell yeah.

///Ps. I´m so fucking stoked for this weekend, recording and party hard at Spisen in Lund on saturday, I want to see all of you pretty motherfuckers there

Goodnight and sleep tight!// 3B ZZzzZZzz
