A little Christmas Spirit

by on Nov.30, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry

That’s right killerheads. The Mutt goes all christmasy. I’ve you’re anything like me, and why wouldn’t you be, you’re currently thinking of the best way to survive until christmas. The best way is to get to know new friends. Here’s what you do. You buy to crates of Jack Daniels with twelve bottles in each. You then carefully wrap this boxes in christmas paper, and write the numbers one through twentyfour on top of the different bottles. Finally you add a small pocket knife on a string to the entire thing.

Pimp Santa and Ho Ho Ho

Pimping totally optional

Now, when the first of december comes along, as soon as you wake up, you carefully grab the pocket knife and carve a hole where the number one is. Then you relieve your box from the very first christmas Jack Daniels you got. Now, open the bottle, start drinking and put on some great rock n’ roll-album. Then the next day you open up number two and so on. By christmas you will probably want your drink so quickly you won’t have time for the pocket knife, and just shove your fist down the wrapping. This is totally ok, and just means that you’re finally good enough friends with Mr. Daniels, that you can call him by his true name: John.

Here’s some photos from the ongoing recording of the new album.

The first few are from QueenStreet Studio where we layed down the drums,
and the rest are from our own little hideaway where we’re recording guitars, bass and vocals.
More photos will be added as we make our way towards the finished product.

“Where’s the click track?”

by on Nov.29, 2010, under Bedlam speaks, Studio update

So that’s a wrap on rythm guitars for the album. Big thanks to the great Stefan Nilsson for letting us use his amp!

Boy what a great weekend me and Stuff had!
We set up the rig with the help of Stefan and our producer Lasse Jison Johansson on Friday night and recorded all through to Sunday evening. A weekend with lots of snow, beer, frozen car doors, canned food and a hell of a lot of tuning the guitars due to weird weather-related conditions.

Despite that (and Bedlam almost passing out in the snow at Lund Central Station late Saturday night from cold and exhaustion) we layed down some fantastic guitar tracks! Good thing we finished in time too since some heavy fireworks went off right outside the studio just after the last take.

Maniac’s up next. Next Friday we’ll be back in the studio with Lasse to set it up for the vocals.

PS. Stuff’s got a couple of photos from the guitar sessions on his camera, that’s coming soon..

Whats happening now?

by on Nov.24, 2010, under Stuff blogs

Do you also think that were on a low profile for the time being? Yes, that is we’re in the middle of recording the best album ever composed! And of course we also have taken some vacation and everybody is doing what’s on their minds besides rocking and rolling.
Me, I’m high as a house, smoked some good shit and listening to old feelgood music. And what the others are doing right now I really dont care about.

This weekend that’s approaching us with big speed we’re gonna record the guitars for the album. That means it is up to Bedlam and me to make some history, cause guitars is the shit, right? Nobody is listening to the bass or is it just me?

I just wanted to let you know whats happening, now it’s time for me to flip side on the LP that’s spinning round with T-Rex on the tray.

See ya soon, Stuff

The band in the studio – first sessions

by on Nov.17, 2010, under studio, Video

As you probably have read, the band is in the studio right now, producing a new stunning rock album. The aim is to release it in spring 2011, and one great idea would be to have it ready for you on March 25th, the day of the rock party with Crazy Lixx and Michael Machine at Mejeriet in Lund. Already a fantastic event, so why not make it even better? Can’t promise anything, but we’ll try.

There’s no name for the album yet, but I do know that it will contain 10 beautiful rock tracks, where many of them have been tested in front of a live audience lately. I hope we can present some first cuts in the beginning of 2011 for you.

Anyway, here’s some moving pictures from the first sessions, which took place at Queen Street Studios with the ever so skilled Richard Larsson behind the wheels and knobs. Many thanks also to Lasse Jison Johansson.

Time For Fight!.

by on Nov.16, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry

Okey Stuff just spreading some rumors because that he´s jealous on me. Just to complete this fight between me and Stuff will i tell you some things about him to.

I like Stuff i really do, but i don´t think that he will make it without any girls. And when we´re out on the road with the Clan we usualy take a couples of beers or just having a fucking good time in the bus, except one, and that is Stuff, because he is looking on a movie with John Travolta or an movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger and making noises that only girls does in the bed.

He always tries to sneak up on Maniac & me when we´re trying to sleep.
He always want to take a shower with you and rub your back with oil
He´s just so……wait for it………waiit for iiit…………Gay.

Stuff you should thank me for saying these words for you,and knowing that we´ll always will love you for who you are and for what you´re doing. And i just got to say the key for you and for the rest of your life, you have to accept it bro!.
Have a good week now fellas, ching ching and good night.

3B behind the mask

by on Nov.14, 2010, under Stuff blogs

The day that you all been waiting for and I totally sleeps my day away. Well it’s better it happens a bit late then never. I told you you that I would bring some juicy facts on the table regarding some member in the band and so I will.

Not so true

Not so true

It’s about none other than Big Boned Barabas, earlier this week I was gonna tell you another thing about another member but 3B hinted that I was a bit weak when it comes to drinking and now it is payback time, brother.

This is a true story, when we attended Sthlm Rock Out earlier this fall and after we had done our gig and we were partying backstage we all got a little drunk, 3B drank a whole lot more than the others, and you have seen the photos of him and a bunch of pretty girls from that happening. I’m afraid that I will have to burst that bubble he has painted for you as him being a straight guy. He actually tried to go down on me but I stopped him and told him that I am just in for the girls, he then nodded his head and carried on to another girl.
We have never spoked about this since, but this will be a reminder of who really is the most goodlooking guy in the band.

I say as my fellow musicians in Fall Out Boy, Thanks for the memories even though they werent so great!

3rd entry on the top 10 album list

by on Nov.13, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry

Hello everybody, I thought that I should share another entry on my top ten list of the greatest records ever made. Keep in mind that it is my personal thoughts.

This time I will add an album by the greatest band ever, the band that has made the biggest mark on me and they are also the reason that I play guitar today. KISS, what a fucking kick ass band. Paul Stanley with his awesome voice and might be the greatest showman on stage still today, Ace Frehley the greatest guitarplayer ever, Peter Criss with his cool whiskey-voice and also we have Gene Simmons, The Demon that wrote hits with attitude back in the days.

KissI will add their first album to the list that just goes by the name KISS. Songs like Strutter, Deuce, Cold Gin, Black Diamond, 100 000 Years and Let Me Know just to mention some of the songs. There is magic written all over the record which I just cant put my finger on, you gotta hear it, and LOUD!

Check out my list here and sit back and relax and let your ears take in some of the greatest music ever composed.

Tomorrow I will reaveal a very juicy fact about someone in Killer Clan. So check back tomorrow and read for sure.

Tip of the week from BBB!

by on Nov.12, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry

Hello Fellas, hope you boys and girls had a great week cuz i had!. Here is a little tip to make the weekend a little more awsome.

The first thing to do would be to buy a lot of beer, liqour or anything else that doesn´t taste like sugar and strawberrys, and if you do like strawberrys or cosmopolitans you´re might be a little bit like Stuff, and in his case that would be that he is pretending like a girl. But nothing bad mean to you Stuff, you rock but not like me;).

The second moment should be to call some friends and especially some good looking girls, and throw up a big party were The Clan is on the guestlist.

And the last moment but the most important, is to put on some amazing rock´n roll on your gorgeous boombox that you´re grandmom gave you on your birthday last year. NOTE that you have to make an mixtape with: Accept, Cinderella, Ozzy, Killer Clan Of F.U.N., Mötley Crüe, AC/DC, WASP, Badmouth, Crazy Lixx, Hardcore Superstar, G`N R, Sticky Dirt, Michael Machine and many more that you would like. And by taking those advice from me (the only man in the band) should make you´re party to the biggest and greatest this weekend. And DO NOT forget to invite The Clan, cuz if you´re not, Maniac will hunt you down ;) .

Have a real nice Weekend and i´ll see you today or tomorrow, Adios Amigos
