Thursday night in Lund!!
by Big Boned Barabas on Oct.22, 2010, under Live
3 of us from the Clan were performing as Dj’s last night at Ariman in Lund. Me, Maniac & Stuff, and we kicked ass behind the mixer. We were playing all types of rock’n roll and it turned out that i am an AWSOME Dj!, who really can get people to dance and drink a lot of booze:).
This weekend will be fucking amazing, we are attending @ Jutan Skatepark tonight and the doors are opening 19.30. Tomorrow @ Roadrider Mcc Fest with Trash Queen and Close Quarters, Monday @ the Tivoli starting 21.30 and Wednesday @ Helsingkrona in Lund.
And something good to know; even if we are in the studio (workin’ on the new CD), we’ll be performing amazing gigs just for you, and note that we don’t disappear like other bands while they are recording.
Have a really great weekend and hopefully we’ll be seing you one of our gigs in the weekend

A man named Karl…
by Pär on Oct.18, 2010, under Bio, Maniacisms and Poetry
“I’m the one they call Karl” he said to us, stating it in such an obvious way that we started scratching our heads, trying to remember something we felt we should remember.
“And I’m Maniac, arm wrestling champion of the world!”, Maniac said in a desperate attempt to win back the crowd’s attention.
“We’ll see about that”, Karl said.
It was in the middle of the night, we were celebrating a successful gig on Rockbåten, some fans had joined us backstage, and Maniac was on top of the world.
The two contenders eyed eachother cautiously, nodded and sat down. A silent agreement to start an epic arm wrestling battle:
The second entry on the album list…
by Stuff on Oct.14, 2010, under Stuff blogs
I have had big problems choosing albums to this list, it’s so hard. Mostly because I have to stand up for this list quite a while. So earlier this week I had a conversation with Mr Maniac about what album I should put out on the list, he said gently that I must be mindfucked if i was to list an album that I said that I was thinking of putting out there. Later that evening I realized that I was mindfucked.
This dude that I am about to list is an odd little fellow, you cant categorize him really. He changes style every now and then, but this album is straight up rock n roll. What I think is important to tell you is that I just likes the stuff that he recorded between 1969-1974, after that it’s just rubbish except for one album that got released 1983. His name is David Bowie aka Ziggy Stardust. The album that I think is so fore out is “The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars”.
Not a bad track here either on this record, and as always it should be heard throughout real speakers and not through your computer. If you ain’t got the time to hear it all, try out Ziggy Stardust, Suffragette City and Five Years.

Recording the demos…
by Stuff on Oct.12, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry, Stuff blogs
Last sunday we all met where we nomally rehearse but this day we were gonna record demos for our upcoming album. We recorded about 10 tracks and I am almost sure that every track will end up at the album. What’s cool about the songs is that every song has been played live except 2 of them, this way we know that the songs will work for our listeners. The 2 remaining song will surely be tested live before entering the studio.
I had problems with the rhythm for one of our songs, and this is all because of Bedlam. He writes riffs that really rocks, but I have trouble playing his fucked up riffs. So on the next album I will write one really fucked up song so I can pay back to him. All jokes aside but I think I will get around this problem when we hit the studio.
For our goodlooking fans I can asure you that the song “I’m Dead” will end up on the record, the only ballad on the album I’m afraid. And for our not so goodlooking fans I can tell you that there will be 8 hardrocking songs on the album. Including live favourites as “The New Stone Age” and “Say Hello To My Bullet”.
But the tenth song you ask then? Well I don’t really know which genre the song belongs to. The song goes under the name “In Touch With My Demons” and this track will eventually end this album which still has no name. It starts off really cool and Maniac’s vocals is incredible I can tell you. This is the only song where both me and Bedlam plays solo, To keep it short, this song will blow your fuckin’ mind!
Well let me rephrase that, This whole album will blow your fuckin’ mind!

TV Violence
by The Mutt on Oct.07, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry
A couple of days ago, me and Bedlam went over what to do about Maniac’s obsession with trying to violate everything he sees. Bedlams ideas were…radical at best. Crazy at worst. He kept on trying to convince me that the best thing for Maniac would be to let him loose on a crowd of unguarded children. Preferably by getting a job at a kindergarten. And since I’m obviously the voice of reason in the Clan (however the fuck that happened) I disagreed because I still believe Maniac needs to be monitored. Don’t get me wrong, the kids probably have it coming I just think he’ll get it wrong and accidentally teach them something instead. Then how are we to subvert them with our lyrical content?
This is why Maniac’s no good with kids
So instead I opted to park him in front of a TV with the hope that the flashing colors would keep him distracted from doin anything to stupid. Guess I was wrong. After a while the combination of moving pictures and audio proved to be a bit much for Maniac’s crazy head so he started screaming how his demons were harassing him. The he threw the TV out the window and we basically said: “Fuck it.”
Well, at least he came in touch with his demons which proved to be an important part of the songwriting process.

Killer Clan of F.U.N. and friends
by Bedlam on Oct.02, 2010, under Bedlam speaks
Added an new gallery to the photo page the other day; Killer Clan of F.U.N. and friends. It’s simply a small but growing collection of pictures of us with some of our fellow musicians we run into on the road.
How about Maniac posing with heavy metal legend Udo Dirkschneider or BBB getting into “trouble” with ex-Motley Crue vocalist John Corabi?
Good stuff no doubt, and without exeption great people, both on and off stage.
