Don’t mess with 3B

by on Aug.31, 2010, under Bedlam speaks

So, to pick up where Big Boned Barabas left off, the beef between him and Maniac may be a little unclear to all of you reading the blog, but you could say that it stems from some of Maniac’s stage gear that BBB finds highly offensive.

And BBB’s not the type to sit quietly when he feels he’s being mistreated.

This personality characteristic becomes particularly evident in rehearsal. For example, make the slightest little noise during one of his drum intros, and you’re setting yourself up for a shitstorm of insults, profanities and threats of physical violence.

Sounds horrible perhaps, but it’s all done in good fun and definitely serves to keep sprits high in rehearsal or on the road. Besides being the best drummer around, BBB has a wonderful knack of coming up with one-line insluts that will leave you rolling on the floor laughing. (After all, he did volunteer to kick Maniac’s ass on the very day he joined the band. An offer that still stands, by the way).

We practised the set and the new songs the day before yesterday and we’re going back in on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday to make sure we sound our best for the upcoming gig at Stockholm Rock Out. I’ll let you know how it’s coming along…

One Night in Sjöbo…

by on Aug.29, 2010, under News

Okey, this weekend has been one of the most cruel and dirtiest this year!. Yesterday there was a giant pardey at Maniac’s and there were crayfish, beer, music and some good people too. We had a good time until i started to talk with Maniac, he tried to give me a really wet kiss, and told me that i was a fucked up kid. I told him that those fucking shoes he was wearing on stage should fit perfectly on a lady boy from the deepest holes in Thailand and not on him!. So to end the story of the package that was delivered to Maniac early this morning, I just wanna tell you that he will regret all the bad things he have done to me!.

If Maniac was a Panther…

by on Aug.20, 2010, under Rock'n'roll stuff, Stuff blogs

Steel Panther @ House of Blues.Since it’s friday night and I’m kinda high on drugs that my doctor prescripted, Im just gonna let my mind fly and play around with some thoughts. If I should place Killer Clans members in other bands, where would the wind up and why?

Lets start off with Maniac, well his name says pretty much how he is as a person. If he had a soloband I think he would put the lyrics to the extreme as well as his stagepersona is today. Therefore I would place him in Steel Panther. Check them out on Spotify and you will see what I mean.

On to The Mutt, he is one of most talented bassplayers I’ve come across. He is the most musician of all Clan-members I think. And he’s also into more heavy kind of music than the others in the band. Slayer could possibly be a good choice to put him in…

Then there’s Bedlam. He has his roots deep in the swamp of blues. He is hard to put his finger on really. But I think I would put him in an early Rolling Stones. He would fit perfect there I think. I would love to be able to play as Bedlam, he has a cool way of playing the guitar.

Last but not least, we have 3B (aka Big Boned Barabas). The young drummer, he is a bit frantic and kinda pushy sometimes. He would fit perfect in Hanson. No just kidding with ya, he is a straight hard fuckin rock n roller. Kinda like a young Tommy Lee. Actually I think that just Mötley Crüe would be the perfect fit for him.

And what goes for me I just leave up you guys…

Oldschool and galloping…

by on Aug.19, 2010, under Stuff blogs

How come there’s so few new bands that really rocks today? I mean, most of the bands from the 70s and 80s are still going strong and makes good music. Just take a look at Iron Maiden that just released a new cd and I think it rocks, Maiden are also a band that get away with “galloping”, which I really think is cool. But often when we’re writing songs to the new cd in Killer Clan and I want to do “galloping”, Im often voted down…

But I will get me will through eventually, I won’t back down!

And what I want to say is that Killer Clan will become a band that that will stand out in the test of time as long as Im alive. True rockers never die, and when they do, they’re going to rockers paradise.

Killer Clan changed my life…

by on Aug.18, 2010, under Stuff blogs

It may sound a bit cliché but it really did. Before I joined forces with Maniac and the others I had my own thing going, some bands were great and some were not. I always had a dream that I would become an ultimate rockstar, but to become that I really must have all onboard with me, sharing the same goal. And finally Im in a band that has one determined goal, to become true rockstars.

One thing that I thinks makes Killer Clan stand out a little bit more than most bands is that we have five personalities that puts on a highclass show every time we hit the stage. I know that its a long way to the top, but I think its possible this time…

What do you think that makes Killer Clan stand out?

Gig Cancelled…

by on Aug.17, 2010, under Live

This is really something that makes me sad, when fans wanna come see a show and when the organizer fucks up, it really is the fans that gets the losing hand. For those who dont know, we had a gig the 28/8 in Lund and unfortunatley it was cancelled due to very bad planning from the organizer. But we are working on getting a new show booked in Lund, so just stay tuned. We will notify you as soon as we know!

Here we go!

by on Aug.16, 2010, under Maniacisms and Poetry

Well we’re gonna kick it up a notch here now and try to blog every now and then. We’re gonna write about what concerns us as a band and just talk music, some of us may even talk rubbish but that’s the way of the Clan!

This very weekend we played at Bodoni in Malmö, the crowd wasnt the biggest we had, but the few who were the there really made it worth playing, and I also got the chance to try out my new wireless reciever to my guitar, it was a big relief to get rid of the cord, finally I’m free and as we’re playin more and more we will expand the show to maximum. That is a promise from me to all of you who come see us!

We will be joining forces with our friends in Damien this Saturday as they take the stage at Bodoni in Malmö. Kind of a sudden addition, but Killer Clan doesn’t need much notice…we ready to rock at any moment and it will be a pleasure to bring Malmö to it’s knees once again :)

More details in the gigcalender. Hope to see you there!

Kings of Rock, Queen of Roll…check out Damien! They truly ROCK!
