Back-up!
by Bedlam on Oct.25, 2009, under Live
Rehearsal tomorrow night. Gonna see if we can pick up Tellin’ Lies and maybe add it to the setlist for Friday in Höör. Great album track that’s only been played live once before.
Also, workin’ on adding two more back-up singers to the line-up. So if you can sing (hell, shoutin’ in some form of musical key will do fine) or know of anyone who can..drop us a line! There’s plenty of room in the Clan!
And..oh yeah…girls only
Faster Pussycat
by Maniac on Oct.22, 2009, under Maniacisms and Poetry, Rock'n'roll stuff
I’ve been beatin’ around the bush for some time now with two important things in my life.
First: Faster Pussycats CD from 2006 “The Power And The Glory Hole”. I don’t fancy the techno approach these guys, fronted by Taime Down, have taken to their music. I loved the rawness and the energy that filled their first album and of course I loved “Wake me when it’s over” After that it seemed that every good rocking band had to try and reinvent rock n roll. And maybe that is something to be grateful for, but it doesn’t kick any ass. It just no good. Boring songs and no energy. It sounds a lot like the crap Tim Skold from swedish band Shotgun Messiah made ten years ago before he joined and got kicked out of Marilyn Manson. Manson at least have the magic fingers to put some energy into his music, while these copycats just fail. Now Faster Pussycat releases yet another album. I don’t know if I will even give it a chance. It’s called “Front Row For The Donkey Show” – If you do listen, please drop a line and tell me what you think.
Second: Nikki Sixx had a really sad 1987. It was the same year I got “Girls, girls, girls” and forced my kid sister to take pictures of me holding that album, an empty bottle of Jack Daniels and a bouquet of roses with my hair teased up to the moon. If I had known how far off into the darkness he had slipped with his heroine addiction it would have scared the shit right out my ass. Very interesting read, this book of his “The Heroine diaries” (or is it “the Heroine diarrheas”). So all you kids out there, read it and then
STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM DRUGS!!!

Here’s a few pics from last Saturday at Spisen! Great page, festivalphoto.se, and certainly some skilled photographers!
What else is going on? Next Friday the 16th at Rockbåten, Helsingborg is comin’ up…gonna be great!
Killer Clan of F.U.N. are in fine form and it will be a lot of fun to see the boys in Bodies again!
Been workin’ on, or more like re-working this song, Sleazeball Boogie, we came up with some months ago that never really went anywhere.
Anyway, it kinda hit me like a bolt of lightning the other day what to do with it.
Gonna be a bone-crushing, mean-ass, evil son of a bitch of a tune!
All Killer Clan of F.U.N. tunes are
